Stardots starts Clinical Trials in the USA

Uppsala, Sweden – September 18, 2024 – Stardots AB, a leading innovator in medical technology, is pleased to announce a collaboration with the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Neurology and Movement Disorders Clinic in New Hampshire, USA, a Parkinson’s Disease (PD) Center of Excellence. This partnership marks the beginning of clinical trials for two groundbreaking medical devices designed to quantify typical PD symptoms and monitor disease progression: ANLIVA® Hand Movement and ANLIVA® Eye Movement.
The upcoming ANLIVA® Hand Movement and ANLIVA® Eye Movement devices are at the forefront of digital health innovation, developed to offer precise measurement of motor and ocular symptoms associated with Parkinson’s Disease. These devices aim to provide digital biomarkers that can significantly enhance the understanding of PD, optimize treatment plans, and ultimately improve the quality of life for patients. The clinical study is expected to start during Q4 2024.

- Digital Biomarkers: Develop and validate digital biomarkers for Parkinson’s Disease.
